Michael Bailey is an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering. His research interests lie in the areas of the security and availability of complex distributed systems. His work informs both the development of such systems as well as the sciences of computer security, networking, and distributed systems. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master's degree in computer science from DePaul University and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
